Cadrex Continues to Grow In Monterrey, Mexico

Cadrex's brand new facility in Monterrey, Mexico, is now fully operational, with all equipment and programs transferred and running in the new location. As we continue to grow, our teams have been hard at work ensuring a balance of business expansion and attentiveness to our existing customers.

75,000 SQ. FT. Expansion

The most visible sign of growth at our new plant is our 75,000 sq. ft. expansion, which is currently in progress on the east side of the plant. Construction is on schedule, and as of July 2022, we are halfway finished with the project. We are on track to have over 250,000 sq. ft. of production space by the end of the year.

Expanded Capacity and New Equipment

With the much larger footprint of our new building, we have been investing heavily in expanding our capacity. Our highly innovative customers play in dynamic markets, where the ability to scale quickly is instrumental. We are expanding our soft-tool capacity with new equipment.

Three new 300 ton sheet metal stamping presses

Automated Stamping Press Line

In June of 2022, we received delivery of three new 300-ton sheet metal stamping presses that are part of a new state-of-the-art automated stamping line. Our technicians and engineers are hard at work installing, configuring and testing the automation to have it up and running in the coming months. This automated line is one of our many recent investments in industry 4.0 technologies to make our operation more efficient and flexible.

What's New In Mexico

Our much larger facility brings a host of opportunities to the region. We will continue ramping up capacity and expanding our capabilities within our Monterrey plant. Our sights are set on the future—building a modern, North American manufacturing facility, expanding our top-of-class labor force, and offering our customers the true manufacturing partner experience they expect from Cadrex.
